DESCRIPTION:“In his blue gardens men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings and the champagne and the stars.” \nJump into the roaring 20’s through this 2 week programme is for young performers aged 14-18 years. Over 10 days participants will create their own immersive theatre performance of the legendary tale of The Great Gatsby. \nStudents will work with industry professionals to create site specific magic in our art deco theatre. Covering devising\, page to stage\, costume design\, Charleston dance\, and a trip to London to visit a live theatre performance. \nThe Final works will be a performance to the public the evening of Friday 7th August. \nThrough this programme participants will complete a Bronze Arts Award\, which is a nationally recognised qualification for arts participant; the cost of which is included in the participation cost. \nThis programme runs Monday to Friday 27th July – 7th August 10am – 4.30pm. \nProgramme participation fee is £200 per young person. \nThe fee includes all sessions\, transport and tickets for the Theatre Trip\, and 2 tickets to the final performance.

SUMMARY:Young Company Summer Acting Programme – The Great Gatsby Immersive Theatre Project
DESCRIPTION:“In his blue gardens men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings and the champagne and the stars.” \nJump into the roaring 20’s through this 2 week programme is for young performers aged 14-18 years. Over 10 days participants will create their own immersive theatre performance of the legendary tale of The Great Gatsby. \nStudents will work with industry professionals to create site specific magic in our art deco theatre. Covering devising\, page to stage\, costume design\, Charleston dance\, and a trip to London to visit a live theatre performance. \nThe Final works will be a performance to the public the evening of Friday 7th August. \nThrough this programme participants will complete a Bronze Arts Award\, which is a nationally recognised qualification for arts participant; the cost of which is included in the participation cost. \nThis programme runs Monday to Friday 27th July – 7th August 10am – 4.30pm. \nProgramme participation fee is £200 per young person. \nThe fee includes all sessions\, transport and tickets for the Theatre Trip\, and 2 tickets to the final performance.

DESCRIPTION:Calling video journalists of the future! This is your chance to have fun and learn some brilliant skills! \nThis immersive and exciting 3 day course will take you through the process of creating your own documentary\, you will produce and direct your own short documentary on a local issue\, giving your voice and work a platform from which to be heard. \nFrom writing a script to filming your documentary\, you will have the chance to have your say on a local issue. \nThis collaborative\, ideas-based programme will provide hands-on\, practical experience with industry professionals and local experts\, building participants technical filmmaking skills\, as well as Storytelling and narrative skills\, research\, Critical Thinking and Critical Reasoning skills\, as well as leadership\, creative problem-solving and presentation skills. \nLimited spaces available. Book early to avoid diappointment. \nA documentary film is a filmed story concerning factual topics (i.e. someone or something).
