The Amelia Scott is in the heart of Royal Tunbridge Wells town centre and is easy to visit on foot, cycle, rail, bus and road.
Group Curator Talks
We offer private Curator Talks for visiting groups, delivered by a member of our Collections Team. It’s a fantastic opportunity to take a closer look behind the scenes at Tunbridge Wells’ heritage and art collection, with a range of themes available (see below for topics).
We kindly ask for a £100 donation towards the cost of staff time.

Audio Guide
Take advantage of our free audio app ‘Tales of Tunbridge Wells’ which will give you a guided tour round 30 historic sites and sights of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Go at your own pace, pause and stop off for a break in a local hostelry when you like!
Even listen from the comfort of your own home! These audio postcards and picture galleries offer a glimpse of this unique town. Follow the journey from the discovery of the Chalybeate Spring in 1606 to the flourishing, culturally rich town that exists today.
The contributors range from historians, local business owners, residents, landlords and reverends. Their anecdotes and facts provide a colourful and characterful insight into one of England’s first tourist destinations.
Scout Groups
Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are all welcome.
We offer workshops especially designed to help your groups achieve badges. Current sessions include the Book Lover Badge and Local History Badge. To book one of these or to discuss a workshop for a different badge, get in touch with our Learning Team (learningattheamelia@tunbridgewells.gov.uk).
Sessions cost £37.50 per hour, including a 30-minute self-led gallery visit and a 30-minute facilitated activity. Please note that an additional charge applies for out-of-hours sessions.
