Registering a birth or death
All births must be registered within 42 days (6 weeks) of the birth.

All deaths must be registered within 5 days of the registration service receiving the paperwork, unless a coroner is investigating the circumstances of the death. Please only book an appointment once the doctor or hospital has confirmed the paperwork has been submitted.
