Imagination and learning start here. Our children's library is bright, playful and designed for young readers to relax, explore and fall in love with books. It's perfect for The National Year of Reading 2026!

Your library goes wherever you go. Kent Libraries members can enjoy thousands of e-books and e-audiobooks, plus magazines and newspapers from the UK and around the world – all free.
Step back in time with historic newspapers going back to the eighteenth century, explore your family story with FindMyPast or Ancestry.com or make better purchasing decisions with Which? Online.
You can access everything via the Kent Libraries website or download an app for e-books, e-audio books, magazines and newspapers. Log in with your library card and you're ready to go.
IT Buddies
Need a hand with something computer related? Our IT Buddies are in the library every week. These friendly volunteers can help with Word, email, web browsing and all those "how do I…?" questions.
They can also help you get started with our online library services — from e-books and e-audio books to family history research and historical and local newspapers (including many from our area).
