Our programmes are designed to support mental health through creativity, collaboration, and shared experiences. These courses provide a supportive space for participants to build confidence, develop new skills, and connect with others while exploring imaginative and creative approaches to wellbeing.
Group for Blind or partially blind adults
(Delivered in partnership with Kent Association for the Blind)
Our monthly Sensing Culture workshops offer a welcoming, creative space for Blind and partially blind adults to explore The Amelia’s collections through touch, sound, and imagination. These sessions encourage connection, creativity, and discovery, helping participants engage with objects in meaningful, sensory-led ways – no prior art experience needed.
Programmes to support wellbeing
These sessions create a relaxed and sociable space where people can take time out, try something new, and enjoy being part of a welcoming community. With a focus on creativity and shared interests, these meet-ups offer a simple way to support wellbeing while building connections with others.
