During this session, pupils explore the different ways picture books can be enhanced to appeal to young audiences by using such devices as pop-up mechanisms and textured pages.

Pupils have the chance to try out each method as they create their own cards and pages of books.  They also have the exciting opportunity to look at artefacts from the Amelia store which are fascinating examples of a further range mechanisms.
