In this session, pupils explore a range of Victorian artefacts and consider what they can tell us about life 150 years ago. 

At KS1 this involves linking up Victorian objects with their nearest modern equivalents to understand how life has changed, while at KS2 children explore artefacts selected to serve as springboards for exploring wider topics, including differences in technology, education and the lives of children.  During the session, the children find out why our area has a special connection to Queen Victoria herself!  

The session concludes with a self-led trail around the galleries.
