Pupils are cast as archaeologists, exploring clues about what life was like in the Stone Age through to the Iron Age, with a particular focus on our local area.

Pupils have the opportunity to handle pre-historic artefacts and use their enquiry skills to identify and understand the significance of key developments in human progress across pre-history.  

The session concludes with a self-led trail around the galleries.
