Pupils are cast as palaeontologists and set out to explore clues about what the world was like millions of years ago. 

At KS1 the scene is set with a sensory story, while at KS2 the children are challenged to work out the size of a dinosaur femur from a fragment and a footprint!  All sessions include the chance to handle a range of fossils from The Amelia's Collection and investigate how they were made and what they tell us about the past.   

Sessions conclude with a self-led trail around the galleries.
